*Terminology:

*Zoomez (Zoom-ies) - a sudden burst of frenetic energy in which an animal (typically a dog or cat) runs to and fro.
*Pet Care Service Providers - Any pet care provider such as veterinarians, pet walkers, pet sitters, pet daycare facilities, groomers etc.
* Request of Service - Before a trip is confirmed you must request the service time and day in order to check its availability

*Confirmation of Service - After requesting your desired time and date of service, it will be confirmed and scheduled in our calendar

*Pet Rideshare - Pet Rideshare is a pet pick-up and drop-off service without the owner's assistance. Pets will ride along with other pets being picked up on the way to their service. Some restrictions apply. Please see our details.

Pet Transportation Service FAQ

STEPS TO BOOKING A ZOOMEZ PET TRANSPORTATION SERVICE:

STEP 1: Requesting a service:

    When requesting a pet transportation pick-up, consider traffic and timing you would like us to arrive at your destination appointment. Send us your desired request and we will reach back out to you with our available times and a quote of your trip route.

 

STEP 2: Confirming your service:

    *Review your quote, and provide all necessary signatures and documents.

    *Confirm your request as a booked service with us by paying for your ride. We accept Zelle, Paypal and Venmo.

    *Lastly, call your pet care service provider and set your appointment time. Please let your pet care service provider know you will be having “Zoomez Pet Transportation” drop off your pet on your behalf.

    *Now your scheduled with your pet care service provider and your Zoomez ride. We will schedule your booking and send you a confirmation via text or email.

***IMPORTANT*** Prior to Zoomez picking up your pet please pay any pending dues to your pet care service provider . We are not responsible for any pending dues to your pet care provider. We are not held responsible if a pet care provider refuses to release your pet due to the failure of the owner not paying any debts owed to them. This may result in our driver canceling the remaining scheduled trip and no refund will be provided by us.***

WHAT IS PICK UP AND DROP OFF LIKE?

    During pick up or drop off services an owner or other personal must be present in order to pick up and remove pets from our vehicle. We do not enter into home or yards for legal/ safety reasons. We provide a 15min. courtesy wait at arrival and final destination addresses. For some trips owners are welcome to ride along (Note: we will not handle any fearful or aggressive pets, owner must be present at all times) (Pets in a crate must be properly labeled with Owners Full Name, Phone Number, Address, Name of Pet and a photo of pet/ Pets riding 'crate free' must wear a harness and leash and have name tags and rabies license on collar)

***Failure to show up or remove a pet from the vehicle may result in the driver to cancel your trip without a refund. If the owner abandons a pet in our care we may take that pet to the nearest animal shelter and file an abandonment report, release of owner information will be reported. Any and all fees accumulated from the shelter will be at the owners expense.***

HOW SOON IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK A ZOOMEZ RIDE?

Please book at least 24 hours in advance. For ideal trip scheduling please book at least a week in advance.

WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE NEEDED TO BOOK A ZOOMEZ RIDE?

Pets 12 weeks or older are gladly accepted with current vaccine records. Pets younger than 12 weeks will be at the owners sole discretion, a risk awareness and consent form will need to be filled out in this case.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES BASED ON?

Our prices are based on current gas prices + vehicle cleaning/maintenance fee + drivers labor and time. We do our best to provide affordable, clean pet transportation, as well as keep our employees safe and happy in order to provide you the best experience for you and your pets.​

HOW DOES PET RIDESHARE WORK?

Pet Rideshare is a pet pick-up and drop-off service without the owner's assistance. Pets will ride along with other pets being picked up on the way to their service.

​

Requirements: 

-All pets must be in a secure crate, and covered to protect nearby pet passengers. The crate must have a visible label stating the pet's name, owner's name, phone number, address and a photo of the pet. Any belongings with the pet must also state their name.

​

-All like species must share the same rideshare (Ex: Dogs w/ dogs on one trip and cats with cats on a separate trip, if dog and cat are from the same household it is acceptable. Species from separate households can not ride together.

​

-Owners must have proof of updated vaccination per pet.

​

 *This service is ideal for Daycare drop offs. These trips are only scheduled with a window time such as 8am-10am pick up and 4pm-6pm drop off. A 10% discount applies when using this service. Can not be combined with other discounts.

*Preferred pick-up times are first come first serve and not guaranteed due to our scheduling and pick-up routes.

*Our max crate capacity per vehicle is 2-3 Med.-Large crates or 4 small crates

HOW MANY PETS /PASSENGERS CAN YOU FIT IN A ZOOMEZ VEHICLE?

We can comfortably fit 2 Medium-Large crates or 4 small crates in the vehicle with 1 passenger comfortably. Max 2 passengers can ride along on a case by case bases.

DOES MY PET NEED A CRATE OR HARNESS TO RIDE?

Yes, either a secure crate or harness is ideal for dogs (All other animals need to be crated as well as aggressive or fearful pets). If you are in need of a crate or harness, we may have available sizes. Please let us know in advance if needed, there will be no extra charge. We do not carry around extra crates, we do this in order to provide the most space availability for your pets and any personal riding along.​

CAN I RIDE ALONG WITH MY PET?

Yes! it is actually preferred if you do, to ensure the most safety and comfort of your pet. (Fearful or Aggressive pets, owners must ride along)

MY PET HAS AN EMERGENCY CAN YOU TAKE THEM TO THE EMERGENCY CARE?

We DO NOT accept emergency calls for pets in need of emergency. We are looking into offering this in the near future.

WHAT PLACES CAN MY PET BE TAKEN TO USING ZOOMEZ PET TRANSPORTATION?

Anywhere pets are accepted! Some places require the owner to be with their pet at all times such as pet parks, airport, pet friendly/ private events, and some pet care service providers etc. Please confirm with your destination if pets are allowed.

IS MY PET COVERED IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT?

Yes, your pet is covered in our vehicle insurance plan. Pets are covered as property.

CAN YOU TRANSPORT MY DOG TO THE AIRPORT?

Yes, Please note someone must be present with the pet. We do not take the pet inside the airport, we only offer curbside drop off. Pets must be crated when transporting to the airport at all times.

 

***Helpful tip: Not all airlines allow pets, check to be sure your pet has their own flight pass and proper crate as well as crate labeling.

CAN YOU PICK UP SUPPLIES FOR MY PET?

If your pet is already being picked up at a location that also sells products. Just pre pay for any products to your pet care service provider before our arrival, and we will bring those products with your pet at no extra cost. We can not purchase products on behalf of the owner. We do not offer solo pet supply pick up, pet must be present at the location. We look forward to expanding this type of service.

DO YOU PROVIDE WATER DURING THE RIDE?

Yes, we provide water for your pets during long rides and after long appointment stays.

​

CAN I PAY CASH?

When scheduling your trip, we prefer you pay in advance online via card. In some cases we do accept cash but it must be paid at time of pick up.

​

CAN I TIP MY ZOOMEZ DRIVER?

Yes, drivers gladly accept cash tips, we appreciate your recognition of great service! =)

WHAT HAPPENS IF NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO REMOVE MY PET FROM THE ZOOMEZ RIDE?

We offer a courtesy wait time when dropping off a pet, the max wait time is 15min for personnel to remove the pet from the vehicle. If there is a no show and no contact from the owner this will result in the driver canceling the trip and/or taking the pet to the nearest shelter at the owner's expense. There will be an automatic charge of $50 and information will be released to the nearest animal shelter and we will make a report of pet abandonment. All charges will be at the owner's expense. Please schedule accordingly with your pet care service providers and family members when scheduling your trips.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY PETS PICK UP/ DROP OFF LOCATION OR TIME?

Any changes to location and/or time must be done 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, in order to best accommodate your scheduling needs.  If changes are made within 2 hours of a scheduled route, there maybe an additional charge of $25 to your credit card.

WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO YOUR DRIVERS OPTAIN?

We take our training and driving safety very seriously in order to provide the best service. Our drivers are licensed and insured and are well trained on pet handling, driving safety and what to do in case of any emergency or accident situation. Our drivers are certified in Pet CPR specifically for dogs and cats. We make sure our drivers feel confident and prepared for any situation that may arise.

DO YOUR DRIVERS KNOW CPR?

Drivers are CPR certified for dogs and cats through https://petemergencyeducation.com/ 

We are prepared for any emergency situation, all drivers also obtain a first aid kit in each vehicle.

CAN I BOOK A TRIP OUTSIDE HENDERSON NV?

Unfortunately due to the boundaries of our business license we are only allowed to work within Henderson NV. In the near future we plan to expand and offer our great service to other areas. Please come back and check with us on how much we have grown.

CAN I BOOK A TRIP AFTER HOURS?

On a case by case bases we maybe able to accommodate your scheduling needs. Please contact us to check our availability.

Cancelation FAQ

I WANT TO CANCEL MY PETS SERVICE APPOINTMENT?

Please give at least a 2 hour notice in order to receive a refund. Refunds will be issued within 48 Hours. Failure to cancel prior to scheduled services will result in being charged for full booked services, no refunds.​​
